Virtual Open Day - 04 June
At Newton College, safeguarding is woven into everything we do and the safety and wellbeing of our students come first. Students can only truly grow curious and excel, when they feel safe, supported and happy, that's why we’ve created a nurturing space where they can thrive, both emotionally and physically. With care, respect and a strong sense of security, they dive into learning with curiosity and confidence, because when students feel loved and protected, their love for learning grows - and that stays with them for life.
We're here to support you

As the Designated Safeguarding Lead and Communication and Media Studies teacher, he plays a key role in ensuring a safe and inspiring learning environment.
He believes that education starts with creating a space where students feel secure, encouraged and excited to learn. Beyond academics, he values empathy, assertiveness and critical thinking as essential qualities for student development.

His mission is to make the school a safe and supportive space where students can express themselves, build meaningful relationships and grow into confident individuals ready for the world ahead.

For Linda, education is not just a profession but a lifelong commitment to nurturing growth, empathy, and confidence in every learner.
At Newton College, students are supported by a safeguarding policy that sets clear protocols for child protection. The school takes a proactive approach to their safety, prioritising open communication with students, parents and stakeholders. This ensures that everyone understands the school’s unwavering commitment to protecting every child.
