Newton College celebrates excellence at Importantes awards

21-02-2025

Newton College was a proud collaborator at the 40th Importantes awards! Our leadership team joined this celebration of Alicante's brightest talents.

What an honour it was to participate in such a prestigious event! Last night, Newton College had the privilege of being official collaborators at the 40th edition of the Importantes awards by El Información – a celebration four decades in the making that recognises Alicante's most inspiring individuals and institutions.

Our very own Headmaster Hugo Liz de Castro and Deputy Headmaster Malén Ferrer Tomás represented the school at this glittering gala, where excellence, talent and community service took centre stage. It was wonderful to be part of an evening that shone a spotlight on those making real differences across our province.

At Newton College, we're passionate about nurturing tomorrow's leaders through international education and multilingualism. Seeing these same values of dedication, innovation and hard work celebrated on such a grand scale fills us with pride.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do – to help shape young minds who will one day be the change-makers honoured at events just like this. Here's to 40 more years of celebrating Alicante's brightest!
