Newton College wins PechaKucha Elche mobility award

Nine students from Newton College won an award for their project "Move Yourself" in an urban mobility competition, presenting their idea in 20 slides.

We are delighted to announce that nine talented students from Newton College have been recognised for their innovative urban mobility project, Move Yourself, at the prestigious PechaKucha Elche competition.

A unique challenge

The PechaKucha format challenges participants to present their ideas in just 20 slides, each displayed for 20 seconds. This dynamic style encourages creativity, clarity and precision in communication.

Standing out among the best

Our students competed against more than 25 teams at Elche's Conference Centre, presenting their vision to 450 attendees. Their dedication and innovative thinking earned them a place among the three winning teams – a remarkable achievement.

Passion beyond the classroom

What makes this success particularly special is that the students developed Move Yourself entirely in their free time. Their commitment to improving urban mobility solutions demonstrates both initiative and intellectual curiosity.
