At Newton College, we're proud to participate in the International Learning Opportunities and Studies (ILOS) programme by International Schools Partnership (ISP). This initiative brings our students transformative global learning experiences, like our recent virtual exchange between Year 5 Sphinx students and their peers in India. A gateway to global learning Through the ILOS program, students engaged in live discussions, cultural presentations and interactive Q&A sessions. They explored India's vibrant traditions - from colourful festivals and flavourful cuisine to daily school life and language diversity. Our students enthusiastically shared aspects of their own culture while discovering fascinating similarities and differences. The power of ISP's ILOS program This exchange highlighted why ILOS is such a valuable initiative: Creates authentic cross-cultural connections between ISP schools worldwide Develops global citizenship through structured, curriculum-linked exchanges Provides safe digital platforms for meaningful international collaboration Aligns with ISP's vision of preparing students for an interconnected world Why virtual exchanges matter
